Beijing Series
Created while living in Beijing, this series reflects the visual impressions and everyday experiences of navigating life as a foreign resident in one of the world's most dynamic capitals. Through layered imagery, the artworks draw on observations of the city's architecture, streets, people, and shifting rhythms, capturing moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed. Rather than documenting Beijing directly, the series explores the intersection of personal experience, cultural encounter, and urban transformation, revealing a city where tradition and modernity coexist in constant dialogue. These works consider how memory, place, and perception are shaped through the experience of living within an unfamiliar yet deeply compelling environment.
