About the artwork: Part of the Egypt Series, this work reflects observations of the streets of Maadi during the day. Scenes of parked cars, sunlit pavements, sleeping dogs resting in shaded corners, and the everyday presence of litter and movement create a layered urban rhythm. The piece captures the contrast between liveliness and neglect, revealing the quiet coexistence of routine activity and still, overlooked moments within this Cairo neighbourhood.
