About the artwork: Part of the Egypt Series, this work draws on observations of the Nilesat Satellite Station in Maadi, Cairo. The fortified complex, with its geometric structures, antenna arrays, and controlled infrastructure, is reinterpreted as a kind of terrestrial outpost, evoking a Martian landscape of signal towers and desert silence where technology and isolation converge.
